Guri Haarr is a lawyer and partner at Projure Law Firm.  Haarr works primarily in the fields of employment law and company law related to employment issues.

In connection with the former, she provides assistance mainly to employers. Her work includes ongoing consultancy on personell issues and cases linked to individual employees (including instances of dismissal and summary dismissal), as well as providing advice in connection with transfers of business ownership, corporate restructuring, downsizing and mass redundancies. Haar also takes on assignments for individual employees in cases related to dismissal or summary dismissal, and takes part in negotiations regarding severance packages, etc. She has specialist expertise in the fields of workplace discrimination, including issues related to retirement age limits.

Haarr provides assistance in specific areas in the field of company law, including mergers, demergers, share purchase agreements and shareholder agreements, as well as in cases concerning intellectual property rights such as design and trade mark issues.

In the field of family and inheritance law, she works mainly on cases involving inheritance planning and succession processes. Haarr drafts wills and marriage settlements, inheritance agreements, prior agreements regarding divisions of estate, and agreements concerning undivided estates. Haarr acts on a regular basis as an estate administrator and will executor in connection with the division of assets of private individuals following their deaths.

Her education and professional experience as an interpreter and translator in French and English enable her to carry out translations for the Norwegian Government, Parliament and other ministries. Her background as a linguist has proved to be very useful in many cases linked to real estate issues and inheritance and estate division settlements with international connections. As a member of Eurojuris International, she has established a network of highly competent legal colleagues throughout Europe, especially in France, the UK and Denmark. This is of enormous benefit in situations where Norwegian companies require legal assistance outside Norway.
